BUSINESS PLAN

To understand your business, we value the quality over the quantity. The definition should be short, summarized in a document with no more than 3 pages or a presentation including 15-20 slides covering the following points:

  • Brief description of your business and its distinctive feature.
  • Description of the proposed transaction (start up, capital increase, total or partial sale, etc.)
  • Description of products/services
    • Which are they?
    • Why are they necessary?
  • Business Model
    • How do you generate revenues making a distinction between products and services?li>
    • If part of the revenues are recurring:
      • in what proportion is the recurring within the total revenue?
      • how are the recurring sales generated (type of contracts, renewal of contracts)?li>
    • Which is your invoice model? At what price do you sell your products and services?
  • Clients
    • What is the profile of your clients? How are they classified?
    • How are new clients gained ( sales channel)?
    • How are the sales assigned? per client /type of client included in your portfolio?
  • Competence
    • Are your competitors, direct or indirect?
    • What is your main competitive edge compared to your competitors??
    • How are you going to maintain this competitive edge over time?
  • Financial Statements (a five- year historic duration, the current year, a five-year projection)
    • Income Statement: stratify according to service and product line.
    • Cash flow with CAPEX details.
    • Balance and detail of the debt.
  • Management team and shareholders
    • Who are they?
    • What is their professional career and experience?
    • What is the participation percentage of each one of the present shareholders?
  • Need for investment/credit facilities.
    • What level of investment is needed?
    • What would you finance with this investment?
